Raids on Sacco and Vanzetti (December 11, August 14)

Various police officers from BIPE continue showing the things found in the house, books, posters, computers and more of the same, showing photographs of different parts and rooms. It is necessary to understand that in this case during both raids there were various people living there but only one of them is on trial… What sense is there in showing things from other people’s rooms? Things from communal spaces? Since the only sense that it has is to play this squatted social center as the “center of evil.”

In one set of photos of that raid it is clear how the police moved evidence and arranged it so that this horror story would seem “creepier,” this by having an “overview” photograph,” in each photo of the sequence one can see pieces of furniture full, then empty, and finally another photo with some things that were not there arranged in a totally cinematographic way.

As for the evidence collected in the raid of the family’s house, the prosecutor is crude when showing what was found. From a complete library that was seized, the prosecutors hide the books that are less “suitable” for the accusation and show in a histrionic way the most “radical” books, even hiding under the courtroom desk the other books in order to hamper and hinder the defense.

Surveillance, intelligence

Some BIPE investigation officials come, those supposedly charged with carrying out the investigation and surveillance that goes back at least to 2007. It is thus that they begin to show the photos from the surveillance, where the only thing that they observe is people entering and exiting from the Sacco and Vanzetti. To then show the photographs of a hooded person getting to a march, indicating that this would be one of the accused according to what he heard another police officer say (an officer whose name he does not know and does not testify).

Finally, they often ask the detectives who make arrests and investigations: Do you recognize the accused here in this room? It is a ridiculous question, all the “witnesses/police” finish by saying that they recognize the accused, obviously if they’ve done surveillance and reporting for more than 5 years! Even so, the awkwardness is on their side, various photographs show other people and are grossly confused with the accused. The surveillance only show them walking along streets or close to some squats.

One of the police testifies about the famous “model of the BIPE,” which according to their fantasies was intended to plan an incendiary attack of enormous proportions. The painted cardboard box was nothing but another of the many “piñatas” used in an event for the eighth anniversary of the CSO Sacco and Vanzetti; the defense, in their turn, brought out the rest of the piñatas of identical construction that portrayed for example the Sacco and Vanzetti itself made as a “model.” It is perhaps a less Hollywoodesque, less spectacular and less terrorist explanation than what the persecutors would want.

Given the police’s stubbornness to forget some facts, they turn to exhibit “special report” to remind them about the piñata’s strings and to clarify whether there had been authorization to record the procedure, the detective denied any authorization and the existence of any police or journalist recording. It is clear that at the time they were more interested in the media condemnation than judicial sentencing, going so far as to pass over their own laws in the effort to satisfy their own anti-terrorist hypochondria.

Secret Witness: The Neighbor

The delirious testimony and actions of a neighbor of the Sacco and Vanzetti are exposed in the trial. This delirious “pseudo-artist” subject took the house that he found abandoned next to the Sacco and Vanzetti and once there sought to appropriate the space to himself. Even after his sale of drugs, the beatings he gave to his partner and his innumerable prior cases, he collaborated and remained close with the police.

The prosecution uses the schizoid testimony of R.J.V.M. (the name he was given as secret witness) where he indicates that on May 22nd (while there had been riots outside of the Sacco and Vanzetti) a bomb had been placed at the door. He had cleverly deactivated it and kept it in his house for 3 or 4 days to then hand it over to the police. The supposed and nonexistent bomb begins to transform itself. From a bomb, it becomes a number of detonators and fuses, then arrives at being a pair of fire extinguishers and some drums, until finally pointing out that the fire extinguishers were really his. Of this supposed “explosive material” there is simply no record. Incredibly, no one photographed these items, no one did tests, no one took fingerprints, no one knows what they are like, no one knows where they are now, no one knows who picked them up, no one knows what they were like, they are not within the offered pieces of evidence, and the only thing coming out of these is a supposed and doubtful record of seizure by a couple of police officers.

There have only been the testimonies of these two doubtful policemen without any background, ending their testimonies with more questions and doubts.

At this time, no secret witness has been presented, nor is it known if they are going to.

Church of the Sacrament.


On Saturday, November 21, 2009 in the morning hours and some time after the caretaker moved the door of the Church of the Sacrament, a small incendiary device was activated by electric initiation, producing a flame that managed to burn the door, to then diminish and finally go out under the caretaker’s fire extinguisher. The attack was claimed by a “Rodrigo Orias cell” (communique here in Spanish) and the prosecution links it to the comrade Mónica Caballero, requesting a sentence of 10 years in prison for her under the anti-terrorist law.

But… Who the hell is Rodrigo Orias?

Rodrigo Orias is a satanist youth who traveled to Santiago from Coyhaique for the July 24, 2004 assassination by knife of the priest Faustion Gazziero in one of Santiago’s main cathedrals. This strange case ended with Rodrigo interned in a psychiatric institution for having paranoid schizophrenia, but the bizarre story does not end here; presently the former-satanist and metalhead is an athlete with success in body-building. It goes without saying that Rodrigo did not have any link nor motivation of anarchist or “political” character.

Raid of the squatted house “La Crota” (December 11, 2009)

On the verge of the last presidential election, Power decided to carry out a massive raid on different squatted houses seeking to “prevent” some attack on the voting process. In that context, the “La Crota” squat, where the “Itinerant Anarchist Documentation Center” functioned, is raided. They show photographs of all the rooms, and hold up different pieces of evidence to try to link the comrade Monica Caballero such as posters and patches “against the church” with the aim of linking these with the incendiary attack on the Church of the Sacrament.

Lawyer arrested in march


One of the lawyers in the trial was arrested during the last day of clashes in the context of the repression of the student demonstration, after being arrested he was transferred in dreadful conditions to end up being accused of an absurd police mistreatment (more here in Spanish). This is only one of the many cases with which the forces of repression are acting to suffocate the innumerable struggles that are leaving the established boundaries. Tras continuar relatando y mostrando diversa evidencia del CSO Sacco y Vanzetti y de la casa de la familia del compañero Felipe, ahora comienza el capitulo relacionado con el atentado incendiario a la iglesia sacramentinos vinculado a la compañera Mónica Caballero y los allanamientos a la casa okupada “La Crota” donde vivía ella, es de esta forma que ya hemos superado a los 100 testigos que declararon en este juicio, y a mas de 40 peritos. Aun así queda el capitulo de “financiamiento del terrorismo” y finalmente algunos jefes policiales que aun no se han presentado.
Allanamientos a Sacco y Vanzetti ( 11 Diciembre, 14 de Agosto)
Distintos policías de la BIPE continúan mostrando los elementos encontrados en la casa, libros, afiches, computadores y mas de lo mismo, mostrando fotografías de las distintas piezas y habitaciones. Es necesario entender que en esa casa durante ambos allanamientos viva varia gente pero solo uno de ellos se encuentra en juicio…¿Qué sentido tiene mostrar cosas de la pieza de otras personas? ¿Elementos de espacios comunes? Pues el único sentido que tiene es juzgar a ese centro social okupado como “centro del mal”.
En un set fotográfico de dicho allanamiento queda claro como la policía movió evidencia y los dispuso de manera que pareciese lo mas “tétrico” esta historia de terror, esto por un “descuido” fotográfico, en cada foto de la secuencia se van observando muebles llenos, luego vacíos y finalmente otra foto con algunos elementos que no se encontraban ahí dispuestos de una forma totalmente cinematográfica.
En cuanto a las evidencias recolectadas en el allanamiento a la casa de la familia, la fiscalía es burda a la hora de mostrar lo encontrado. De una biblioteca completa requisada, los fiscales ocultan los libros que son menos “idóneos” para la acusación y muestran histriónicamente los libros mas “radicales”, llegando a esconder debajo del escritorio en el tribunal los otros libros para dificultar y entorpecer a la defensa.


Los seguimientos, la inteligencia
Vienen algunos oficiales de investigación de la BIPE, los supuestos encargados de llevar la investigación y los seguimientos que ya se remontan desde por lo menos el 2007. Es así como se comienzan a mostrar las fotos de los seguimientos, donde lo único que se observan es personas entrando y saliendo de la sacco y Vanzetti. Para luego mostrar la fotografía de un encapuchado rayando en una marcha, señalando que seria alguno de los imputados según lo que escucho decir a otro policía.(policía del cual no sabe el nombre, ni vendrá a declarar)
Finalmente, se les suele preguntar a los detectives que detienen e investigan: Usted reconoce al imputado aca en la sala?. Es una pregunta ridícula, todos los “testigos/policías” se terminara diciendo que reconocen a los acusados, obvio si realizaron seguimientos e informes durante mas de 5 años!. Aun así la torpeza esta de su lado, varias fotografías salen otras personas y son confundidas groseramente con los imputados. Los seguimientos solo los muestran caminando por las calles o cerca de algunas okupaciones.
Uno de los policías declaro respecto a la famosa “maqueta de la BIPE” que según sus fantasías seria para planificar un atentado incendiario de enomes proporciones. Una caja de carton pintada no era otra cosa mas que una de las tantas “piñatas” utilizadas en la actividad del octavo aniversario del CSO Sacco y Vanzetti, la defensa, en su turno, acompañara el resto de piñatas de idéntica confección donde sale por ejemplo, la propia sacco y Vanzetti hecha “maqueta”. Es quizas una explicación menos hollywodense, menos espectacular y menos terrorista de la que quisieran los perseguidores.
Ante la tozudez del policía de olvidar algunos datos, se vuelve a exhibir “informe especial” para que recuerde los hilos de la piñata y aclare si había autorización para grabar dicho procedimiento, el detective niega cualquier autorización y que existiera algún policía o periodista grabando. Queda de manifiesto que en su momento les importo mas la condena mediática que jurídica llegando inclusive a pasar por sobre sus propias leyes en el afán de satisfacer su propia hipocondría anti- terrorista

Testigo secreto: El Vecino
Las delirantes declaraciones y maniobras de un vecino de la sacco y Vanzetti son expuestas en el juicio. Este delirante sujeto “seudoartista” se toma la casa que se encontraba abandonado contigua a la sacco y Vanzetti y una vez ahí busca apropiarse del espacio. Aun cuando tras la venta de droga, las golpizas que el le daba a su pareja y las innumerables causas anteriores colabora y mantiene una cercanía con la policía.
La fiscalía utiliza el esquizoide testimonio de R.J.V.M (Nombre dado como testigo secreto) donde este señala que durante el 22 de mayo ( mientras afuera de la sacco y Vanzetti habían disturbios) se le habría colocado una bomba en la puerta. El astutamente la habría desactivado y guardado en su casa durante 3 o 4 días para luego entregárselo a la policia. La supuesta e inexistente bomba comienza a transformarse. De bomba, pasan a ser una cantidad de detonadores y mechas, luego el agrega un par de extintores y unos cuantos bidones para finalmente señalar que los extintores realmente son suyos. De este supuesto “material explosivo” sencillamente no hay registro. De forma increíble nadie fotografió esos elementos, nadie los pericio, nadie les tomo huellas, nadie sabe como son, nadie sabe donde están ahora, nadie sabe quien los levanto, nadie sabe como eran, no se encuentran entre las pruebas ofrecidas, y lo único que salen de estos es una supuesta y dudosa acta de levantamiento de un par de policías.
Solo han ido a declarar estos dos dudosos policías sin ningún antecedentes, con mas preguntas y dudas terminaron sus testimonios.
Hasta la fecha no han presentado al testigo secreto, ni se sabe si lo van a hacer.

Iglesia sacramentinos.
El Sábado 21 de Noviembre del 2009 en horas de la mañana y una vez que el cuidador mueve la puerta de la iglesia sacramentinos se activa un pequeño artefacto incendiario de iniciación eléctrica produciéndose una llamarada que logro teñir la puerta para luego disminuir y finalmente ser apagada con un extintor por parte del cuidador. El atentado se lo adjudico una “celula Rodrigo orias” (aca el comunicado) y la fiscalía lo vincula a la compañera Mónica Caballero pidiéndole una pena de 10 años de presidio bajo la ley antiterrorista.

Pero…¿ Quién diablos es Rodrigo Orias?
Rodrigo Orias es un joven satánico que desde Coyhaique viajo hasta Santiago para el 24 de julio del 2004 asesinar con un puñal al sacerdote Faustion Gazziero en una de las principales catedrales de Santiago. Este extraño caso termina con Rodrigo internado en un psiquiátrico por tener esquizofrenia paranoide, pero la bizarra historia no termina ahí, en la actualidad el ex satanico y metalero se encuentra como deportista triunfando en el fisicoculturismo. De mas esta decir que Rodrigo no tenia vinculación ni motivación alguna de carácter anarquista o “política”.
Allanamiento casa okupada “La Crota” (11 de Diciembre del 2009)
Ad portas de las ultimas elecciones presidenciales, el poder decide realizar un allanamiento masivo a distintas casas okupadas buscando “prevenir” algún atentado en las votaciones. En ese contexo es allanado la okupacion “La Crota” donde funcionaba el “Centro de Documentación Itinerante Anarkista”. Se muestran fotografías de todas las habitaciones, y el levantamiento de las distintas evidencias para tratar de vincular a la compañera Monica Caballero tales como afiches y parches “contra la iglesia” con el fin de vincularlos con el atentado icnendiario a la iglesia de los sacramentinos.
Abogado detenido en marcha
Uno de los abogados en el juicio es detenido durante las ultima jornada de enfrentamientos enmarcados en la represión a las manifestación estudiantil, tras ser detenidos es trasladado en pésimas condiciones para terminar acusado de un absurdo maltrato policial. (leer aquíel relato). Este es solo uno de los tanto casos con que esta actuando las fuerzas represivas con tal de sofocar las innumerables luchas que se están saliendo de los márgenes establecidos. Las noticias a diario tienen que hablar de la indesmentible represión: perdigones, balines, golpizas, torturas y detenciones.
